What is Walk With Ease Self-Directed Enhanced?

A self-paced walking program for people with arthritis and other ongoing health conditions. You will learn how to safely make physical activity part of your everyday life. A group of individuals begin and end the program at the same time.

Group sessions meet one time per week for six weeks. Classes start with a health education lecturette, followed by stretching, and then a walking session. Classes are taught by two Arthritis Foundation certified leaders.

Participants are encouraged to attend weekly group sessions while also implementing daily self-paced walking activities and weekly journaling.
